Tremblant Conditions
Has anyone been up to Tremblant recently - curious to know how the course conditions are?
Thx

was up there a month ago. What courses are you referring to? Geant is closed for 2020. Diable was in decent shape but a far cry from what it should be considering the $150 price tag. Greens were just ok with patchy areas. La Belle was in better shape and less than half the price. Montebello was in great shape and the best of the bunch.
I got a fever. And the only prescription is more golf equipment.

I have a buddy who lives in the Tremblant area and he confirmed exactly what Jeff noted... plus he said if you are thinking of playing Diable call to ensure you can get a tee time, he noted weekends have been hard to get times except for later in the day.

According to Tremblant website Le Geant will be closed again for the 2021 golf season. I heard that they had some issues with landslides on some of the holes. Does anyone have any further news on this? Will this course ever open up again?

I heard this from someone with a cottage in the area. He said that some holes had suffered some damage because of collapsed hillsides and it had damaged holes. Again, this is second hand so I posted to see if anyone had heard something similar.

I guess I would have though we'd have heard something more about that but maybe they want to keep it on the QT.

I have to say I have been doing annual trips with buddies to le Diable and le Geant for the past 6 years ( excluding last year ) ... the wow factor is no longer there. It's good but not world class, overpriced IMO.

You are correct Jeffc....The La Bete website is now under the Clublink Banner.

Both Le Maître and La Bête will continue to operate under their existing structure, with La Bête being a hybrid model consisting of daily fee community access, resort guest access and a local membership. The overall experience at La Bête will be elevated to a standard in keeping with a ClubLink property.I got a fever. And the only prescription is more golf equipment.

Royal Laurentian is a pretty good alternative to these.
