From my quick Google it looks like the flare tip might not be a standard size which is probably why Golftown didn't want to do it.
If you take it to Golfworks on Industrial or if you have a set of digital calipers you can measure it to confirm. If it's a standard flare tip size then you can get it replaced no problem.Not fat anymore. Need to get better at golf now!
