    Red face pledge to charities - 2011

    2nd annual pledge to charities.

    $5 for birdies, $20 for eagles (or pick your own amounts to give). Last year's pledge had 9 participants, we recorded over 200 birdies/eagles and raised over $1,000 for Canadian charities. Click here for the 2010 thread. I assume the same players from last year will be returning.

    Do international rounds count? I scored two birdies in Florida when I was there in March. Actually started my 2011 -2 through 5 holes, then reality set in on the way to an 84 lol. I was still happy considering I hadn't played for 5.5 months.

    You had it right the first time. Eagles count has 2 birdies on the scoreboard. It's up to you to remember how many were eagles when you do your payout to the charities.

    You got 36 birdies in 6 months of golf last year. How much better do you think you're going to get?

    I'm planning on playing back tees as much as I can this year, so I don't expect to get many birdies. But who knows....

    My very first game this year.

    Wolf Creek NV
    Hole #11 Par three - hit it off right bank and it rolled just past the hole for a tap-in. Likely my best birdie of the year considering the course.

    BTW the real course not TW10

    Didn't get to play with Adam and Scott today due to a mixup at the course but still played well and shot a 78. 2 more birdies added to the list today, one was chip in on a par 3. Loving my short game so far!!

    I broke the ice today with a birdie on a short Par 5 (#7 Emerald Links West). Games lined up on Sunday and Monday should get this number climbing.
