freakin Saints lose by 13 and were 13 point favourites. WTF? Second year in a row I was knocked out of my pool by them.
I got a fever. And the only prescription is more golf equipment.

Linebackers are whiners. All they want to do is lay a huge hit on someone and knock them out of the game or worse. That shouldn't be the name of the game. Sure stop someone if you can.....just SHUT UP with all of this "The NFL is making it unfair for us" crap. This is a game changing rule. It's definetly going to open up the field for more scoring. I for one am all for it.
They were showing replays of the Buf - Balt game and showing how defensive players are now scared to throw the big hits. There were a few TD's that may not have happened if they would have nailed the receiver.

i thought so too until i watched the replay again. it all happened quickly but here's what happened: the bills receiver was initially stopped, he started to get pushed backwards by the baltimore defense (so you think the play should have been blown dead here) but that's when the bills offensive linemen pushed the entire pile forward and he started to gain a few yards. As the pile was moving forward that's when Ray Ray ripped the ball out. The Bills receiver was up in the air surfing a wave of players the whole time. lol.
i saw that too.

Warning: Dolpfan Rant
Hey Chad Henne. I dont know if you got the memo but during the offseason the Dolphins signed Brandon Marshall. He is 6'4", 230 lbs, runs the 40 yd dash in 4.52, 37" vertical, his nickname is 'The Beast', and his jersey number is #19. You may want to throw some deep balls to him once or twice a game even if he's covered and let him make a play.
I'm not even going to talk about Ben's fumble. What really infuriated me about yesterday's game was the conservative playcalling by the Dolphins. Henne is supposed to have a cannon arm, yet the Fins offense is dink and dunk, throwing underneath to Fasano, Bess, and even Marshall is running 5 yard ins. Hello Tony Soprano or whatever your name is, Brandon Marshall is not Wes Welker!
The offensive line gave Henne ALL DAY to throw the ball. He had time to look for option 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and throw the ball away. How about sending Marshall to run some deep post routes and go routes, heave the ball up there and he will come down with it more often than not. For heaven's sake, that is why the Fins gave him all that guaranteed money. It's for his athleticism and not to catch 5 yard catches and break tackles by James Harrison to get a first down. Marshall is a deep threat. Use him!
I knew the Fins would lose after they were handed 2 gift fumbles in the Steelers red zone and ddn't even take 1 shot at the endzone. The Steelers have a great defense but their secondary is their weakness. Fins did not attack that weakness even though they had the weapons to do so.
Fins deserved to lose. I don't care if refs blew the fumble call. I have no faith they would have gotten a first down to seal the victory anyway. Soprano would have probably called three runs up the gut into the teeth of the Steeler defense. Punt and play prevent D against Big Ben. Yeah I rather everyone blame the refs for the loss instead of focusing on the real problem in Miami; lack of a killer instinct.
End of rant.

If Al Davis can 'run' a football team years after he died, so can Jerry Jones.

Wow, i'm embarrassed by this handicapping display. And fantasy wise, disastrous too. Henne, Lynch, Tolbert, R. Moss, all butkus basically.

Patriots - 6 and 1 in a rebuilding year. Amazing. For the next few years, they'll continue to be a force especially with all the draft picks that they've acquired. They're not as exciting as they have been, but they get the job done.

My first WR in the fantasy draft, and this is what I get... Wonder if he'll end up in San Diego...
