RCGA performance reports

For those that are RCGA network members, you should be able to check your yearly performance reports if you haven't already.

I think it's one of the better features of the handicap system.

In the past I've only used the basic entry but I might do the hole by hole thing this year.

BTW, for those that want to know what a putting slump does to your handicap, I refer you to my chart from last year.

How can you get a putting stat is you used the basic entry. I only see by game score chart.

I just meant that by looking at the chart you can see exactly where my putting started to suck.

The good thing is you can see where it got better again.

Mike, you are automatically a member when you are a member at a course. Ask your club pro to give you access. He will setup an account for you.

As I understand it, anybody who is a member of the RCGA, either through a regular club membership or through a public player program has access to the site. I am a member through the GAO public player program.

I believe that if you are a member of the RCGA through the Ottawa Golf public player club you would also be able to be on the network. Dan could confirm this.

In general the site allows you to enter scores, search other golfers handicaps, etc. The provincial associations used to keep their own sites but they were all rolled into a single RCGA network last year.

This is great. I've been an RCGA cardholder since 1975 and didn't even realize this program existed. I'll definitely be making use of it this summer.
