Adam Scott is the topic this week...
http://www.pgatour.com/2010/r/08/31/...der/index.html
Pretty wild if you look at the home page of pgatour.com, and click the Man In The Black Hat thumbnail... it gives the column big prominence. Pretty cool.
Very odd what one guy, a laptop, and big screen tv can do in his basement if he puts his mind to it.www.chapeaunoirgolf.com

They're the 'monoline' caps... but, the one Rickie wears is the flat brimmed, fitted version... they have them at GT.

Fowler dresses pretty well, except for that all orange deal which is just plain ugly.
I got a fever. And the only prescription is more golf equipment.

I hate the orange as well but it gets him noticed and people talking (like us).
I was looking through a sport magazine the other day and noticed PUMA that Rickie wears and said there's the brand that Rickie wears. While it doesn't interest me, it might get some young folks to buy that brand.
It's all marketing and getting noticed.
Congrats as well to the column and blog, finding a niche nowadays is not easy. Best of luck."Bubba-Size Your Drive"

I interviewed Ryan for a story on chapeaunoirgolf.com back in June... Once the TRUEs hit retail I'll likely do a follow up.
Awesome guy, very well spoken and generous with his time. Here's the link:

This week’s column.

I have to say that Hoffman has a unique style for sure. He has the 70’s fashion with the late 60’s hair….Strive for perfection, but never expect it!

Do you have access to the amount of hits you get on your PGA column? Are they substantial?

Another good one Mike! I like Hoffman's style he wants to be different from most of the other boring Pros. Met him at the Canadian Open a few years ago, nice guy as well signed my volunteer cap.
