I just looked out the window and they have "plowed" my street.
It's now about 1.5 lanes wide. My best guess is that the snow bank is about 3 or 4 feet from the edge of the sidewalk. I probably have a good 15 feet to shovel if I want to get my car out.
I'm going to wait a couple of days to see if they plow the sidewalks and take the snowbanks away first. Not fat anymore. Need to get better at golf now!

I am still waiting for my street to be cleared.
I heard and saw the lightening last night while shovel. I thought it was best I put my shovel away.

Yep, I caught the lightning last night, and at first, the lady and I thought it was just the flash and sound of the plows until we realized that it was far to bright to be the plow lights!
It's been a rare winter for me, that's for sure.

Wow!!!! I don't think I've seen snow anywhere like that since 1997, and that wasn't as bad as what you have now. well I guess the grass will stay protected from frost till the Ryder cup event

Som,
You didn't even offer to come over and blow out our snow and we're practically neighbours! lol
I'll make sure that Pete puts you at the bottom of the batting order this year!

You got a paper? Lucky stiff! No sign of our paper guy. We haven't seen a city plow on our street since Thursday! Appleseed has been (about 11:00 last night and around noon today), so the driveway is immaculate, but the street is a disaster. Guess I'll have a discussion with my councilman in the morning!
P.S. Dan, looks like the system didn't make the time change last night.

I almost got run over by the same plow twice last night. I think the driver was trying to take out his frustration with the snow, and I was the unlucky (or lucky?) recipient of his rage.

i threw my friends dog into the snow... not knowing how deep it was and the dog got stuck. We had to ge ta shovel and dig him out. It was pretty funny but friend was freaking out. I don't think I'm allowed over for a while

i want to punch our plow guy in the face. The guy charges us upfront and then doens't show up and when he does we've already paid someone else to do it.
