Hole in ones....
Lets hear your stories, descire the hole, describe the shot... I'll start!
I've never had one, come close 3 times. By close I mean less than 1 foot. I was at the canadian and someone waived is through so I went and hit and the guy said... "That would ahve gone in if that ball mark wasn't there. It hit the mark and missed hitting the stick and just missed it tot he left by an inch and went past the hole by a foot" Even showed me the ball mark. Ever since that day I replare all my ball marks. Second time I was playing at the glen mar and I hit one to withing 1 foot or less and my friend walks upto the tee and says, wow nice shot but watch this. And he puts it 6 inches away on the other side of the hole. It was pretty amazing. The 3rd guy teed off and went about 30 yards passed the green and took a 6 while we both putt in for 2's
3rd time, don valley (this was my closest). Shooting from an elevated tee box I hit a really good shot that I knew would be within 10 feet of the hole. Nex thing you know, the ball hits the edge of the hole really hard (falling from such a hit distance) and bounces violently to the right and ends up about 30 feet away at the endge of the green. I walk upto the hole and the ball had dented the edge of the hole pretty badly and took me a few minutes to fix it up so it wouldn't effect anyone for the rest of the day... me = ********

Great research Geoff.
It's amazing what a person can find when they learn how to use the search function.
Also, it would be amazing if someone in university was able to spell properly
My opinions are my own, I do not follow others.

Thanks geoff
As for you GB, I'm a math wizard, don't need to know how to spell Its all about the numbers. I'll leave the spelling to the authors and bills gates and his word processor

With all due respect thotho, just because some people asked what happened to you when you stopped posting, and encouraged you to return, that does not mean you have to post something every hour. This is not a post count race. I know you said you were joking about trying to compete with others, but you have been post flooding lately.
Many of us enjoy reading of your adventures, but sometimes less is more.

Dan, just having fun because thotho is the volume master, not actually suggesting he stop posting.

LOL, I'm joking about the thread as well dan. Most of the thread was bashing me if you recall. I'm on the computer 16 hours a day and get an email every few minutes from the website telling me there is a new post.. if its something i want to reply to I do. I'll be more selective about which posts I reply to. Less is more, got it
Covanant, you win. I think i will get banned if we race to 150,000... lets call it a tie

in my 20s, a student at U of T studying actuarial science specialist program, statistics, economics double major - comp prog. minor, math major and looking for another major to finnish off that degree. I'm what you call a bit of a math geek, nerd, dork. Its possible there are some little thothos running around toronto, ottawa and india.. but if there are, I dont' know about them.

Just to get this back on thread..... got my second ACE today at Vieux Moulins.
Easy 4 iron on #11 from the back tees. Doubled #12, bogeyed 13 & 14...Oh well....shot 73.
Pretty depressing outing really, 6 fairways, 12 greens, 32 putts = 73.
Losing money with 2 skins???? Costly!

I actually have 3. My 1st was on an executive which my playing pals say doesn'tcount.#2 was a fluke off da rocks on 14 @ Cloverdale and the best of the bunch was all by my lonesome @ LM#7 which technically doesn"t count. That what you get for mhaving no friends--at least none that want to play early. I bet its seems like a lifetime ago for some of you though!!
