    Making RTG Wedges rust

Has anybody tried to make their raw/rtg wedges rust quicker? I read on the Cleveland website that you can take a damp clothe with some salt and it will speed it up, makes sense. Salt and metal makes for a rusty combo, but is there any side effects to this and how long will it take to get it rusted? If anyone has tried this or other things to get their wedges rusty let me know.
    Thanks
    Denny

    • Soak an old towel (I did not use salt)
    • wring it out so it almost stops dripping
    • wrap the head
    • Let it sit overnight
    • brush off the excess with a soft brush
    • repeat until you get the texture you like Mine were great with one treatment, but others may want more rust
    • I redid my sw after 2 seasons.
