    GT 50% Off Clearance Shoes

    Unsure if the deal is only @ Ottawa East or not, but I was at GT and picked up a pair of TW Air Zoom 2010 shoes for 50 dollars. They had GEOX and Ecco's from last year at the same price as well as a pair of Nike's for 25 bucks.

    Wasn't sure where to post this. I think this is an excellent deal for end of season high end shoes. Limited sizes.

    I just got a pair of $300 Eccos for $50 at GT Trainyards.
    They are amazing.
    The TrueLinks shoes will have to wait until next year.

    Just trying to alert folks of the deal I went back and picked up a pair of ecco ultra performance and another pair of TW for 50 for a buddy. I personally think it's unbelievable prices.

    sizes? I am size 10.5 so usually those sizes are gone and it's all 8.5's and 13's left.

    I grabbed the last 10 of the 2010 TW for my buddy. But, you are right. Some 9's, but mainly 8-8.5's with the odd 13 thrown in. Nothing in the 10.5-12 range. The sales lady said that the sale was going on for a week and a half, so for all I know they did have a lot of sizes and they're down to the final pairs.

    On a side note, i was surprised i could fit an ecco 41 ~ 8 US. I fit a Nike 9 US. This goes to show that just like shafts, a size 8 in one brand fits like a size 9 in a different brand.

    Watch out for the Ultra Performance the soles crack after a few rounds. I had to take mine back this year and if you read about them online it is a common thing with that shoe. $50 is a great deal but you maybe returning them next spring. Just some fyi.
