    Medicus?

    dbleber:

Has anyone actually used the Medicus swing trainer? If so, how is it?

    Hi Denny,

I have the Medicus Pro from the mid 90's. When I first started with the club, all I did was swing the club and try to not make it break. You can really feel where you have to have the club in the swing path so it doesn't break.

When I started hitting balls at the range it was a little weird, but the visual feedback was good in indicating what went wrong and where in the swing. After using it for a few weeks I went from a mild slice to a mild draw.

It is always in my trunk and when I have to wait somewhere I pull it out and use it to work on my tempo and timing, it's great just for that too.

    Cheers
    Happy

And I have had similar success with a weighted club.

Really? It looks so cheesy on TV. Does it give you drills that actually give you feedback?

Yes some drills are in the series. The ad has to be cheesy unfortunately. I've almost every training aid. No kidding I even have a swing jacket. you name it. The only one I use now is a momentus for warming up. The rest. are collecting dust or have a new home.

The DVD's are in Toronto making it's rounds with my friends. But I can say. I will not give these up. If you're a decent athlete. Meaning you played hockey, or tennis, or ping pong, or baseball. It will really change the way to approach golf for the better.

Just my two cents it's really how you learn. I admit it may not work for some people.
