Course Etiquette Tip
Please do not take pull carts between greenside bunkers and the putting green.
This narrow traffic area quickly wears down.

hahaha.....
I agree this is probably not good for the grass, but I'd think the greenskeeper would put up ropes in the event that some damage begins. In any case...
I still see people dragging their carts across greens and tees...?!?!?!???!!
With the increase in numbers of walkers (and riding carts if they stay on the paths), there is less pressure/stress on the turf from pullcarts. As long as golfers respect the turf and let the grass grow, I'm not too stressed about where they pull their carts.
I think that golfers should take care of the courses by:
1) Fixing ballmarks (even if they didn't make one);
2) Using divot mix and replacing divots;
3) Fixing spikemarks (after holing out);
4) Raking traps;
And contribute to quicker play by;
1) Vacating the area of the green immediately after players have holed out..... (how many players stop to count strokes, clean clubs, etc??)

etiquette
Good to see a thread started on etiquette....
First off i agree that there are more and more walkers out on the courses but there is also a problem with this.....i see alot of walkers who walk not only to their ball but to every ball...making it longer rather than a quicker round. Walk to your ball then meet your buddy in the center and walk again if the conversation is that important that it cant wait till the green.
As for ball marks......fix TWO every hole even if you didnt make one!!!
Also...... leave the little flag on the flag pole where it was...this is for where to find the hole (bottom of pole=front of green, middle of pole=middle of green or top=back)
