Weather Blues
I am getting quite tired of the weather....I am leaving on the 27th for Pinehurst, NC and they tell me this is the coldest winter they have had for some time. Today they had 1/8th of an inch of sleet and temps around 0 degrees....compared to -30 degrees and a pile of snow...its still going to be a welcome sight...

What else would I do in Pinehurst? Not much except for a blizzard would keep me from golfing.
Not after the price!!

hi....have you been there before???
what courses are you playing??? we are going there
at the end of march...there are some really nice
courses....i dont know if u have booked yet but when we used the net to book we got a fairly high price..we then called and managed to save a couple of hundred bucks off the internet price...it seems people arent travelling as much this year..some are afraid of the getting caught in case there is a war..so they are willing to haggle a bit...im sure this would be true for myrtle beach as well..
dont be afraid to ask for a better rate..haggle..
they want the business and will try to help u out..

Carolina golf
We are going in a group of 12 players. Staying at Holiday Inn, 5 nights, six days golf and cart, fees, breakfast and supper included. Playing The Pit, Carolina, Woodlake, Bayonet, Little River and Hyland Hills, all for $442.75 USD. Great Deal provided the weather is good.

Great Deal!
Do you have a web site? I'd like to look into something like that in the late fall.

Our group has been here for 4 years now(my first year)...so I think we might get a little better deal than what the website lists...these days a little wheeling and dealing doesn't take much to knock a few bucks off the price...Susan Saunders is the lady to talk to though, very nice and the southern drawl is ...WOW.
Friends have played The Pit course several times and say it is fantastic... Golf digest says it is "One of the top Courses in America open to the Public", but they are all nice this time of year...

Thanks
Checked out the site... Looks great... Have you checked out or do you know of any packages out of the St. Pete's, Orlando area?
