Lest we forget!
Thank you to all those who gave their lives for us to enjoy ours today. We remember.
I've spent most of my life golfing .... the rest I've just wasted"

On my way to be on parade right now, love spending time with the old Vets. Just a reminder to those of you who have the day off today. Take the time and go to a service somewhere in the city, they are held all over the place not just at the WM downtown or at the very least stand up and bow your head at 11:11. Don't let their sacafice go to waste by treating this like a free day off, because it is only free to you at a very high cost from others. Remember.

Least we forget
Could not have said it better Dleber.
Let's not forget the sacrifice and the high price they paid so we can enjoy our freedom.

I've taken mine (10 and 6 now) plenty of times. Read the material on the displays to them and explain what went on and why.
The War Museum isn't about celebrating War. It's about not forgetting and hopefully not repeating.

Its nice to see all these posts.
Nothing burns my A*s more than government people that spend
the day shopping.
My Grandfather was there June 6,D-Day on Juno beach.
Do i have the option of going downtown to pay respect?
No.
When is the governement going to wake up and realize
this needs to be a national holiday for all.
Maybe then, they will never be forgotten.
Sorry about the rant, and thanks guys for the postsDirty...Mean...And Mighty Unclean.
