Gatineau golf club

I would like to know if there are any Gatineau golf club members on here and what are their views on the complete overall mess with this construction goings on

I'm not a member but I do play there often. I have no idea about the extent of the construction but my understanding as told to me last year is that they will be opening 3 new holes on the front side this year. They will be the new holes 4,5 and 6 and then the current 4th hole (Par 5) will then be the 7th hole. Holes 15, 16 and 17 will be eliminated.
I have no idea if they are on schedule for the course opening this year. The future plans beyond this is to ultimately replace current holes 11 through 14.
The land will be used by Richcraft for residential and commercial development and I would imagine the range will be impacted as well.

If any of this information is incorrect or there is more current news, feel free to update.

Yes you are quite right..it is sad how such a nice course did not matter to the city...green space is disappearing every where you look on the Gatineau side..Les Vieux Moulins is now owned by Brigil and he has made it clear he has no intention to put any maintenance in it,it will be gone eventually
