    Bend my clubs, PLEASE

    Hello,
I'm a taller golfer with a set of Wilson Staff Di9 irons.
I had a fitting at Golf Town that suggested I need my lie adjusted 2 deg. upright. I'd also like some lofts adjusted. The Di9s have such a tiny hosel that Golf Town and Golf Works won't touch them.
Is anybody out there creative and inventive enough to give it a go?
    Cheers,
    J

I took a look at a picture of the Di9 and can see why they are reluctant.

At a minimum the ferrule will get destroyed since the clamping bar will need to go over the ferrule. I assume there is a post that goes up into the shaft so even if you have the clamping bar as low as it goes on the head you'll still be putting a pretty large amount of pressure on at least a part of the shaft.
Not fat anymore. Need to get better at golf now!

Same as fat shafts is why they won’t do it.
2 options. Extend the clubs or use a shaft bending block(not an exact science)
The bending block only applies to steel shafts

I wonder if you pulled the shaft and then did the bend if it would work?

It would probably bend the post more than the hosel but I'd need to see a picture to be certain.

That could work John, assuming the post/rod is strong enough.

I have a second 6 iron waiting in Ogdensburg for the land boarders to open. I can't find a matching 4, so I was hoping to bend a 6 to a 5 and my 5 to a 4, as well as the lies.
I'd be happy to let someone try, if they're brave enough and looking for a challenge. 😜
Also, I'm not married to these clubs... If something went wrong and I had to endure shopping for new clubs to find my perfect set, I wouldn't be devastated. 😉😁

Oh, and I did have them lengthened.
    Helped a bit.

You're asking to bend the the 6 and the 5 (3.5 degrees stronger)
If done that would produce digging soles(bounce) and not sure the irons could take that much bend( cast clubs-not forged-unless softer steel)
    Di9
If I were you I'd get another set. I have a set of Maltby TE forged 6 to gap wedge if interested. The 4 and 5 are also available from Golfworks. Easily bendable.

Sorry, 6 to 5, and 5 to 4 was the plan before I found out how hard these clubs are to bend. :s
