Recommendation for group handicap tracking?
Looking for recommendations for a group handicap tracking. A group of us (18) play weekly games and are looking for a centralized group handicap system so it is transparent to all in the group and not relying on one admin to enter all of the scores. A feature would have to allow members to enter their own scores. Open to a paid option.

If you're open to a paid option, why not just get a Golf Canada public player membership?

I have heard good things about The Grint, but I personally have not used it.

Thanks for the suggestions. I’ve heard that the most recent updates to the Canada Golf App were not great (e.g. you can only enter your scores hole per hole rather than the final round total). I found this web based system (handicap only mode)

Pricey but seems to have most of the features we are looking for.

Use the golf Canada app , simple and the most up-to-date, and you can track all the sand baggers in Canada, especially when you enter a GC event

My group uses The Grint app and absolutely loves it. You can make it as simple or as complicated as you like (players can simply enter a total score each round, or can get into greater detail with hole-by-hole entry and statistics (e.g. putts, fairways, GIR, penalties, etc.). The app calculates handicaps using the world handicap system (same as golf canada), and has a nice user interface for everyone to see. Our group (usually 8 guys) sets up a live leaderboard every time we play, so that those who want to can check the leaderboard during and after the round (net and/or gross). You can also set up team matches/tourneys. The app is free. There is a paid 'pro' version where you can track shot distances, etc., but this is not required if your group is just looking to use it for scoring.

This is an email I received from golf Canada on the matter:
Thank you for your email and support of golf in Canada. Golf Ontario has decided to require hole by hole posting in order to ensure scores are correctly
adjusted for Net Double Bogey. How many scores are you looking to post since the last score you posted?
Again, perhaps you are running an older version of the app

Entered my total score last night on the Golf Canada app no issues.
