So it looks like this was taken out of the lineup due to licensing.

To the p3 owners who had this course before - are you able to still play it on your system if you have the file?

Or does the later p3 software actually prevent you from playing it?

Yes, you can still play if you have the file. If I recall correctly, you have to rename it to a valid P3 course name. Then when you select that course Augusta comes up. Only the pro tees are in the copy I have. We have even been successful playing online by having each online player rename the file to a course that is available on P3Live.

Back on this thread after a few years..

My drive got corrupted and I lost this file which someone had sent me. Would anyone still have the Augusta file for the p3?

PS - worth asking since P3 is now closed - can anyone share their courses as they are no longer for purchasae?

Augusta would not have been for sale for quite some time through P3 (like before 2011, for sure). As for the course file, if you have it - the name is irrelevant if you're running the latest software version. As long as it is a valid .p3p file it will work. Names were only critical if you were playing online.

With that said, if you're using an older version of the software that required a dongle - the name MUST match exactly.
