Golf Avenue

In recent months, Golf Avenue has really increased their prices on used clubs. I don't know if this due to their affiliation with Golf Town or not. They used to be reasonably priced compared to other used golf club sites. But now, they're getting ridiculous for the prices they're charging. You can almost get a brand new club for the prices they're charging on used clubs...or the used club price is almost the same as when they were new.
Plus, they used to sell most clubs with head covers...now you have to buy them separately.
As an example, a Cobra F7 fairway wood at Global Golf is $109...at Golf Avenue it's $149...and the one at Global Golf is in better condition!
In the last week, Golf Avenue raised their prices by $5 on most clubs.
Even the prices on used clubs is getting ridiculous now!!!

Global Golf charges for headcovers as well.

Global Golf also has used clubs which are more expensive then brand new ones from Golf Town. Buyer beware....shop around.

All about being an informed consumer, I will always buy Canadian if the prices are close but there are good deals in the States if we are being ripped off in Canada.

Isn't this another lead up to a big "sale" where the discounts on offer are only partially true. Then again, it ain't easy running a business so I just vote with my wallet and let the market forces decide the winners and losers...
