Simulation Room Project
Hello everyone. First off let me just say that I think this is a terrific site.
I am new to this forum but have been visiting on and off to get some ideas from the rest of you for this simulation room project.
Having gathered enough information to feel comfortable enough to start,
I thought I would share my progress with you guys and gals.
I expect this to be a 8-10 week project and hope to keep you up to date on it's progress.
The plan.
Re purpose my basement workshop (30' x 18' x 8' 8")
into a golf simulation room (28' x 17' x 10' 4") by going up 6" and down 12".
Here are the rough plans...

Need to go down 18" to net 12" (4" Slab + 2" Insulation). Pics of the excavation. We pulled out over 1000 x 5 gallon buckets of gravel and crushed stone. Filled 2 x 6 yard containers and 1 x 14 yard container 50% (They couldn't lift it with more). 6 guys for 12 hours. Long day.
