    First update of the season

    Sun Mountain Carry Bag
Callaway 454cc Big Bertha 10 degree Driver
Callaway Big Bertha Fairway Wood (3 wood, 15 Degrees)
Callaway Heavenwood 23 degree (4 iron)
Wilson Firesticks (system 45) 5 to Pitching Wedge
Cleveland 51 and 56 degree 588 series gunmetel wedges
    Ping Putter
    Callaway HX Hot Balls

My Heavenwood has replaced my 3 and 4 irons which are in storage and I have taken out my Lob wedge (588 series gunmetel). I'm better with the 56 degree. I am only carrying 12 clubs right now, makes club selection easier.

Traded in my old Adams Tightlies 3 and 5 wood yesterday for the new Callaway Big Bertha Fairway Wood. They (the adams) were faithfull servents for the last 5 years.

Have played with the Callaway HX Tour, HX Blue and Warbird balls. Now trying the HX Hot. Trying to find the best ball for my game.

    Revised Club List

Driver: TaylorMade 200 Steel 10.5 with Rifle S90 shaft (just picked this one up used for a song, will try it tomorrow in our Ryder Cup Event) I like steel shafted drivers.

3 Wood: TaylorMade Supersteel with Rifle S90 shaft (old faithful, 5 years straight)

Integra SoooLong 18 Degree utility head, with Appolo steel shaft @ 41 inches
3-PW Tom Wishon Forged 550C, True Temper S200 shafts

52 Degree Black Rac, 55 Degree TaylorMade 200

YES C Grrove Tracey II Putter

    Balls: NXT Tour

When I wear a glove it is a FootJoy Weathersoft.

BITE Journey DXL golf shoes (Awesome and comfortable shoes, best I have worn in 24 years of golfing)

Last but not least is the Titleist 50 Sunday Carry Bag. Small, you can't carry 2 dozen balls per round (If you need that many for 18 holes you are in big trouble ) I carry 5-6 balls, tees, wallet and keys and a couple of bottles of water and I am good to go. The bag easily holds 14 clubs and is so easy to carry.

Nothing high tech in my bag compared to some, but it is all good solid equipment and it gets the job done.
My opinions are my own, I do not follow others.

    Rac black 52
    rac black 56

I recently got back into playing the game of golf (hadn't played for 5 years or so), and I decided to put together a decent set of clubs to replace the cheap Canadian Tire set I had since I'm playing much more now. Here's what I have:

Driver: TM 360Ti w/Fuji 757 shaft (got it real cheap on eBay, couldn't pass it up!)
Fairway Woods: TM Rescue Fairway 3W, 5W, 7W with stock stiff shafts
Irons: Adams IDEA 3-4 Hybrid, 5-PW with stock Aldila stiff shafts (another great eBay deal)
Wedges: Adams Tom Watson Wedges (52*, 56* and 60*)
Putter: Hogan by Bettinardi The Hawk BHB-12
Bag: TM Classic cart (bright yellow)
Balls: At this point in my game, balls make very little difference, so I get whatever's cheap and plentiful.

If you count it all up, you'll see that's 16 clubs Depending on the course, I will take either the 5W and 7W or the 3I and 4I hybrids with me, but not both.

Stick have been a changin'. Here's the new and hopefully last set up for a while.

Driver: Golfworks CER 851 TG (Graphite Crowned head) 10.5* w/ Mercury Kevlar Pro-Tour Stiff

5 Wood: Orlimar VT830 w/ stock Orlimar s-flex graphite shaft (LT cartridge in place)

Irons: Being built by as I type this, should be in the bag within a week or so; Kenneth Smith Blades with Rifle-like shafts stiff flex, 1/2" longer than standard

Wedges: Raven Nearnet Forged 52* and 60* with stiff steel Rifle-like shafts

Putter: Golfworks CER C-Ray (looking to replace as well)

Balls: Top-Flite Strata Tour Aces (anyone know where I can get more) and Precept U-Tri Tours (anyone have any premium balls they would like to trade for 3 sleeves of this)

**Been told the shafts are stepless made by Kenneth Smith/Raven**

I may be new to this forum, but it seems to me that you and Reid should have your own 'what's in my bag' thread. You say this is hopefully your last set up for a while, and like two lines later you say you want to change your hybrid and your putter. You guys kill me.

...trouble is, it's giving me ideas, especially about shaft ho-ing....I'm a swing ho for now though, better to find one that works and fix it before I start messing around with too many clubs.

    In my bag:

    Ping G2 10*
    Mizuno MP-001 15*
    Nike t-40 19*
    Hogan CFT 3h
    TM rac HT 4-PW
    Vokey 52* and 58*

It's constantly changing the irons that gets costly. Individual clubs is no big deal, but when I find the one that works it will be in the bag for a long time. Really like my driver and wedges, so they are in the bag for a while. But when you hook your hybrid 30-50 yards but every other club in your bag is relatively straight, something has to change, and it is not going to be the swing. And as for the putter, well next to the driver I am most picky about this club. But I find the "What's in the Bag" thread for Reid and I quite an interesting idea...lol

    Should be stable

Well, it has been very transitional since last fall, but I think I am now going to stick with the current arrangement.

Driver: Titleist 905T 9.5 degree on GD YS-6+ stiff
Fairway Woods: Synchron II 3+, 5+ (TightLies clone) on TT Dynamic Gold Stiff
Irons: Callaway X-14 Pros, 3-PW, AW, SW
Wedges: TearDrop 502 Tour 60 degree wedge
    Putter: CER C-Ray
Bag: Wilson Stand (made by Sun Mountain)

On any given day, I may pull either fairway wood, the 3i or the LW to keep it to 14 clubs.

I have had a nearly complete changeout since last year, so worth posting.

    Driver: Wishon 949 G/Ti, 10.0 deg, Rifle 4.5 steel, 43.5", swingweight D2
Fairway woods: Wishon 515 GRT #3 and #5, Rifle 4.5 steel, swingweight D2
Irons: Wishon 550M blades, 4-PW, Rifle Air Lite, swingweight D0
Wedges: Snake Eyes 600WB, 52 deg, 56 deg, 60 deg, Rifle Air Lites.
Putter: Slotline Inertial with a some lead tape to make it heavier

This combo will probably stick for a while.

Here is Today's A Bag... don't blink, something could be gone by tomorrow.
Check out the irons. As Don Cherry says in the Quizno's commercial "So it's come to this eh?" I like to call them the Hoffgans.

Hello, thought I would give you guys an update on what I have been upto.

I pulled my 7 wood, 3 iron and 4 iron. Replaced them with a 19* TM MID rescue and the 3 was replaced with a 22* utility and the 4 was replaced with the 25* utility. I love those three clubs. was slicing my 7 wood but not so much with my 19*, gave up a bit of distance but its ok they are going straight and I'm just using a bit more comon sense when playing. I dont' use my driver on every hole like I used to. Had the shaft on the driver pulled and switched from the 65g reg flex pro lanuch to a 55g stiff prolaunch. Just making those 4 changes dropped me average 5 round score from 98 to my past 5 round average to 89 Only problem now is that I have 15 clubs in the bag I only used 14 for all the rounds but can't decide what to pull now. There isn't any point in having a lovett AND a lob since they are both the same loft so I already pulled the lob. I would rather have the lovett in my bag, better for sand and easier for me to hit from the fairway. So thats 15... what to drop? Should I just get rid of my gap AND sand and just get a 54* wedge?

Or maybe get rid of the 19* club and keep both wedges but then have a huge gap between my 4w (235 yards) and my 22*(195)

    Think of it this way.

How many times to you have to choose between a 4W/19*?
Do you hit either of those consistently well enough that it matters?

Repeat those questions for your wedges and the answer should be clear.
