    Fundonny, the Pats should make the playoffs. Hopefully, by then they'll be healthier than they are now. One thing is certain, what ever condition they're in, they will never wave the white flag. That's all I can ask for ... that and a dozen golf balls.

    Pats will make playoffs but the division is awful. Issue with Pats is their defense has been terrible ever since the core retired or were traded (Brusci Seau Milloy Harrison Seymour Law). Sure the offense is great but whenever it stalls in the playoffs they get bounced. Either BB is not the defensive guru he's made out to be or he is bad at drafting players on defense.

    Their defence hasn't been helped by the various injuries that far too many players suffered. As for whether BB knows how to draft players, I'd put my money on him any day. The team's record speaks for itself, even when the team is winning with smoke and mirrors.

    It might be that I'll owe you a dozen balls, but at least the Pats are in the playoffs with a first round bye. Given the injuries to key players, that alone was a major victory. Now if they can do it one more time, I will be a happy man.

And lest you or anyone else think that I am getting overly confident, I'm not. My guess is that whomever they play next (Denver or the Chargers), the Pats will be the underdogs. I'm simply trying to generate a bit of fun.

    The Pats were really good last night. It will surely influence the spread next week... The spread should be about 7 points... Patriots +7 if they play Denver or Patriots -7 if they play the Chargers.... To be fair the bet has to be made before the game today. You are more than fair Mike....

    I have no doubt that he'll be back, but I could understand if he's depressed by the success of the Pats.

    Yes the poor Falcons. My sister lives in Atlanta so I sort of likes the Falcons. Good coach, good QB, maybe the best live of WR, excellent TE, decent defence... how did they lose so many games?
