Amateur/Mid-Amateur
Hi everyone a was asked a question but could could not find an answer. Does anyone know why one set of clubs(Callaway prototypes) would be legal in one competition(Canadian Amateur) but not legal in another (Canadian Mid-Amateur) when they are both put on the RCGA. Unless it's because of groove regulations but if it's both by the same organization it should be the same.

I suspect it is because the mid-am is not considered to have the same 'elite' status.
