Golf Ball Impact Spray

Been using some Dr Sholl's spray lately at Gregg and Joes Winter Golf school, and was doing some searches and came across this pretty informative article about how to read the markings. Thought I'd share. It sure seems to be a pretty neat way to help understand whats going on at the range.

Thanks for the link!! I've also been using the spray at Gregg and Joe's to work on more consistently hitting the sweet spot. Once I hit the sweet spot more consistently, this feels like the next step!

I was just about to post a question about the sweet spot. Since strengthening my grip I have been hitting it much higher on the club face of the driver and was concerned that this was not a good thing but after looking at the photos on the link it appears that this is the ideal spot. I find that the Walmart brand foot powder spray works just fine at $2 a can.

I bought a set of dry erase markers with a brush at the end and it worked great, got 5 markers for $2

If you are making contact above the center of the clubface it means you are teeing it up too high . Not a bad thing but you are no longer hitting the stated loft of your club because most have what they call bulge and roll. For example the stamped loft is 10.5. Higher up the face is 12 degrees or more and bottom of the face is 8.5 more or less.

I'd like to get me some of that $2 foot powder spray, but I couldn't find any at the Walmart (Dr Scholls was $6.97 though). Which Walmart did you get this?

I got mine(equate brand) out of a clearance bin at Walmart in Clearwater, perhaps not available in Canada. Try DollarTree or Dollorama for a no-name brand or go with the suggestion by Leftylucas in the post above to use the dry erase markers, they work just fine.
