Size and type of hitting mat for a small simulator setup?
I am looking for a small portable simulator that may be the net return simulator series. The dimensions are 8 X 8 X 4. What size hitting matt should I get? Do the balls shoot off of the screen or just drop down?
I know this has been asked before...what hitting matt do you recommend for the GC2 and net return sim series combo?
Thanks for all your help!

From the videos I have seen of the net return, the balls are caught by the netting and the ball rolls to the bottom and back to you.

The sim series the ball doesn't roll back as well as it does with the net. I have a 5x5' hitting mat. Does the job. I didn't buy the mat that came with the Sim series, a little hard for my taste. I have a reelfeel mat.

I have hardwood floors...anything to be concerned with a hitting mat? Still looking for recommendations for gc2, net return sim with a hitting mat. Thanks!

I sent you a message. You shouldn't have any issues with real feel on hardwood. It has a hard foam material underneath. I can't see how that would scratch your floors.
I bought the 5x5' mat which is nice because you can always rotate it to even the wear. Reelfeel is awesome otherwise. Feels great to hit it because I know if I hit it fat it's going to grab the club and I am going to hit a lousy shot. The other thing thats nice is you can tee the ball anywhere on it with a real tee. So you can set the foresight up to hit in one area of the mat, and it doesnt matter if you are hitting tee shots or irons, you can hit from the same spot and not have to move the GC2.

Nice. Where did you get it from. I am not familiar with this mat so will have to find it. This is the last item I need for my sim!
