VS don't measure spin or spin axis and has no decent way of even estimating spin axis. It's a very expensive Optishot. Wait, I take that back, the Optishot can estimate side spin, so, the Optishot is actually better for ball flight.
GC2's left/right play would be a pain.

In fact to improve their spin estimation, they have integrated with Trugolfs Trutrac sensor pad and E6 http://visualsportssys.com/technolog...ensor-mat.html. That should really tell you something about their camera system and what it measures!

Is there a reason the ProTee is not on the radar?

No reason in particular, was pretty convinced I was going to go with the GC2 but a local vendor offers the visual sports system, so hadn't really checked out the ProTee system... maybe I should.

Yes, you should read the threads for the ProTee. I have a GC2 that I'm very pleased with for my personal needs, but the ProTee has a lot to offer and worth serious consideration.
It's well worth your time to learn about them on this forum before making your purchase. The time I spent on this forum, before making my purchase, was the best investment I made in purchasing and setting up my system.
