uhh- Im confused- I tried running pro tee through the portal so i could set my video settings. I logged in and I see the pro tee game in a lobby - the play button is on the bottom- but doesnt lauch when i click it.
I can go no further- top middle tab is asking me for an activation code..?
so then I registered through the portal but received nothing in my email.
I sent pro tee support an email asking for an activation code the same way i did with the license key-

Is that what i was suppose to do?

Did you update your direct x? You must update before play will work.

From Protee customer support. If nothing happens when you press the PLAY button inside the Portal to Launch ProTee Golf 2.0 you need to update your Microsoft DirectX installation.
Run the Microsoft DirectX webinstaller to check for missing and new files to make sure you run the latest and full version of Microsoft DirectX for gamers.

I second the DirectX issue. Happened to me, then I updated and it worked. YOu can also update all the things that Zmax posted on the program updates forum (http://forum.ottawagolf.com/showthre...erface-Updates).

Ok, so, like I said, I was having issues with the Hcam recognizing my driver. I noticed Bubba22 said he uses PT3 method for Hcam. I updated to that and it seemed to be working earlier today, but just went back in and it's not. It seems better, but here is a screenshot. I just reanalyzed with sense all the way down and driver all the way down. I don't even see the ball streak. Path was about -2. It initially recognized it as +2, but was my club head. It's just a black Titleist club head, black shaft.

Oh, and I tried all 4 raster settings. Makes no difference really.

Gain is at 0, Shutter at 13.90, Frame rate 35.

Can you get to the games tab? Select Protee 2.0, then the status will say ready to play. Then the play button will be available. If you can't get there, then you need an activation code.

Baller I don't se a bill streak. Try turning up the sensitivity to say 10. Let us know if it helps. Keep raster at 1.

Where's the second overhead light? How do you expect the ball to be illuminated beyond the tee location?

Or turn the gain or shutter up some. I agree Z, a second putting light will help.

Would a second light even even thoug it doesn't pick it up in the first area? Would it keep looking in the further area? If so that makes sense.

Original shot, sensitivity was at 11. That makes no difference in seeing the ball it seems. I changed the FPS to 31 and that seemed to help.

I'll try shutter and gain some tonight.

    Thanks!

The second light is required if you want to use the cameras. Its not just for the putting sensor. Like I said, most of the time its due to incorrect setup.

No problem. A second light will help. You don't have the putting sensor? Try adjusting the shutter and gain. Let us know how it goes.

I don't want anybody thinking that they can get by with just one light. IF YOU WANT TO USE THE CAMERAS, A SECOND LIGHT IS REQUIRED.

ZMax is right. Really for the illumination. Even with a second light I need to turn my shutter and gain up.

No problem. Once set you will get much better ball streak. I have excellent Hcam success with PT3 however the PR5 concept will be easier to setup once ProTee improve it. The PT5 work great for the vcam.

Yes, pt5 for the Vcam is great for me with 1 light. It gets it every time.

Anyone tried recessed lights? I'm having such a hard time finding a track light that looks good with my setup. Also, what bulbs are you using. There are just so many different beam spreads on the spots and floods that it is ridiculous. I already have way too many bulbs from trying so many out and if I change my lighting I don't want to do that again. (Right now I have a single spotlight with a bulb similar to the one Protee recommends). And I don't want two of those. Won't look right.

Who was the lucky winner of that ebay auction? $3600 for everything was a great deal.

I agree Psace. The Hcam needs some tweaking yet but ProTee will get there. The one thing that we love about ProTee is that they at constantly improving. You can be assured that more things are coming. Hopefully new courses very soon. What a bonus.

Yeah. I was hoping for the Elgin course. Maybe next time. At least we don't have to pay $1200 for a new pack of courses like some other company.
