Thanks Zmax! I just installed it and changed to the recommended settings. Can't play now, but hopefully have time to look at the camera angle/re-position late tonight or tomorrow morning and play around.
---I wrote the above and never hit submit----
I just played around and thought I'd try it without moving my Vcam first. Uhh, seems to work perfectly so far and again, I have not moved the cam. Should I bother if it is getting every shot?

Going to try some chips and lobs in a game.

Hitting some flops and it sure seems to significantly more accurate. What a difference! I'm sure my angles will be more spot on when I move the Vcam, but it's already a huge improvement!

And just hit my LW with a sand flop greenside... just like real life. It went the correct distance!

Oooo, except this one. Any suggestions? This one should have been a simple 20 yard lob, nothing fancy, but it went into orbit:

Wow. Tiger woods on steroids! Let me know if it happens again and how many in a round. I've seen it before in previous interfaces.

Glad you're liking this beta. The next one will be even better. Repositioning the Vcam will allow it to pickup higher wedge launches. If it's working fine for you, you can leave it there for now.

Thanks for the feedback. Keep them coming.

Arrrrgh! Are all the new interface fixes only for righties? Had a game tonight, me 5 handicap I shoot 78, buddy Scott, 5 handicap shoots 77, my golf course club pro, scratch, shoots 75 (first time on Protee),!my buddy Marty, 2 handicap, LEFTY!, shoots 95! He played all last year on my Protee. Now, every shot he shoots reads extremely in to out, hence massive hook. I play with this guy 3-4 times a week outdoors all year long. He doesn't hit hooks. Surely you all have lefties playing your sim? How do the shots read?

Can you provide more information? Screen shots? Is it just with the latest interface 2.96k13? Was it ok before you upgraded the interface?

Was it with all clubs? Post you club_path adjustments from the settings file.

I checked to make sure he was set as lefty. I think my club path corrections are set to -2 for both irons and drivers. All us righties shots seem damn perfect. My club pro started out par, birdie, birdie, birdie, birdie...nuts.

I didn't upgrade to the latest K13 interface yet. I am going to get just him out this evening and will do a more intense investigation. This guy played with us nearly once a week last winter and his shots read like I see him hit on the course. I am not sure what interface it would have been. He hits very straight with slight fade but will hit the odd draw. On the system last night no matter how hard he tried to straighten his path it was 7 to 10 degrees in to out. His ball flight was starting straight so the ball physics were giving him juicy hooks.

I was at Home Depot this morning to get some Black Friday deals. While looking around in the carpet section, I found a couple pieces of very black 2'X4' carpet/rug. These should work much better than the dark grey carpet that I'm using now. Hoping it will help with the new Hcam method.

Great Z. I have dark carpeting which is the best for Hcam ball tracking. Do let us know how it works.

Buy the black ones. They're 2'x4' so buy enough to cover the area that you want. Might have o trim some of the edges.

Looks good. The middle section is the old worn out grey/green carpet.

Looks like the new Hcam method on there... :-D

How's it working? I'm having a hell of a time with my Hcam and driver. Pretty sure I had it and somehow my settings got messed up when I restarted.

Bubs is this PT5? Pics seem dark. Increase gain. I moved my vcam back a few inches. I get 100% registered.

It's working but its measuring wedges incorrectly. Still needs work.

Post some screen captures of your Hcam and settings.

Played 18 this morning with the new interface. Much improved but still getting a few anomalies. Chipping is excellent and I can hit accurate lob and chip shots again. I had half a dozen 30 degree launches on long irons and drivers where it is not detecting ball. Still need to tweak my Vcam settings a bit more I guess. Accuracy is spot on otherwise.

E62 was supposed to come out this fall, it has been "coming soon" forever on their website. I would bet the online game play debugging is causing delays. I am guessing entry fee for the full course package will be north of $5,000.00. I will need to hear some serious positive reviews before I pull the trigger at that price. I imagine you will also need some serious pc horsepower to run those graphics at full tilt, so figure on a couple grand more for a new pc if I pony up.
