Pictures
I tried to attach some pictures in a post to announce a driver for sale, and I could'n attach them. The message given was that the size of every single file was too big. These are normal pictures taken from a digital camera in usuals situation. Why is it?

Most pictures from a digital camera have a very high resolution and are several MB in size.
If you are running Windows XP, you should be able to re-size them to a resolution more suitable for the web.It could be that the purpose of your life is only to serve as a warning to others.

Dont worry about the camera settings. Take the picture, download it to the computor, THEN resize it for web page and then save again. Now all you have to do is post it.
Cant get any easier than that. And I am pc illeterat to the fullest.I've spent most of my life golfing .... the rest I've just wasted"

Ok
once you have your pics on your computor just open it.
what do u look at your jpg's with?
mine open in microsft office picture manager
when the pic is open look for edit picture button
then compress picture to web page size and save it
then attach and download
try this and post again if it worksI've spent most of my life golfing .... the rest I've just wasted"

Then all you do is highlight the files you want to resize, right-click, choose Resize Image, pick the size you want and it does it automatically. It could be that the purpose of your life is only to serve as a warning to others.

You might want to check out Irfan View too. It's one of the most popular pic viewers/basic manipulation tools available (and the best one imo) - http://www.irfanview.com/

Fast solution. Email yourself. Then XP will ask you to resize. Click ok then send.
