here is the website
yes it works on your normal clubs
question now is the camera required, cant imagine phones 30fps could be sufficient
hope he is not just going for a mass market over quality capture.

Yeah, looks like a great product. I wonder what kind of a camera would you need. 300fps minimum?

Just about to as that question???? No real detail on the website? Couldn't be a standard 30 fps cam could it????

I doubt that. The club would be a blur in most frames.

Cory's video said he was putting it out for iphone
30 fps !!
That why l said "hope he is not just going for a mass market over quality capture"
at least use a ps3 eye cam (or two) with 120 fps please
surely the gaps in 30 fps could not pinpoint the swing points with accuracy, would be about as accurate as a pinhole camera but a good toy perhaps for the road
Given they are Kiwi's I intend to email them to try and trial it

Just got an email saying swingprofile available in itunes store, not on android.
Any Apple fans want to try it out to see if 30fps video sufficient?

Ok has anyone tried the trial?
just downloaded the free trial of Swingprofile on my wifes iphone 4 . Unfortunately the back camera does not work at the moment so had to use the front cam. Dont know if that affected quality but if it didn't dont bother , the quality was cra#. No way could you learn or teach from that. Blur blur blur
If anyone has access to a back camera does that reduce blur? The specs of iphone 4 are 30fps for both front and back camera so I presume not.
Zeke the developer emailed me and said they are developing ipad at the moment and then android and Windows apps- the later next year!
Anyone with thoughts?

I have Swingreader on my iPhone, and have played with it once or twice. Don't really like playing with video too much, so lost interest quickly. What I can tell you, is that it is free. It will capture your swing from any angle and allow you to play it back in slow motion. It will also aloow you to draw lines and make boxes to look at head movement etc. ooops looks like it is now $2.99 now in the app store. I got it when it was free. Also does club tracking.

I played with Swingreader some more yesterday and quickly saw that I was way too flat at the top, and was releasing early. It was very disturbing and depressing, because I only decided to video because I was striping the ball and hitting the sweet spot consistantly. One positive was that I drew a box around my head and liked most of what I saw. I did move my head back a bit too much in my backswing, but got it back in the box perfectly until well after impact. The early release was the most troubling, because I could actually see the shaft realease and bend forward ALOT way before impact. Just completely wasting clubhead speed and distance. Now I am worried that working on increasing lag will screw up my ball striking.

Be very careful. If you are hitting it well, then don't change too much!!!

That's what I am afraid of, and have been down this road before! Maybe this is why I don't like video! Lol When you are hitting it good you think, man my swing must look good. Then, you see the evidence and want to smash the camera. With out the video I would I would have left the range happy thinking how good of a swing I have. Instead I left happy knowing I must be a freak of nature that I can do some many things wrong and still get a good result. Lol

Hey look at Jim Furyk! Tommy 2 Gloves! Arnold Palmer! Lots of crazy looking swings, the results are what count. Doesn't have to look pretty, just has to work and be repeatable!!!!

I look at the pro swings on my phone on V1 and iswing every now and then to remind me that the pro's are far from perfect.
Only a few have model swings.

Just an update on Swingprofile.
They have released an Android Beta- is in the Samsung Store -Free.
It can connect a number of cams using wifi. The apple version does not.
It looks like they have perfected the timing of the images of swing sequence and the auto capture works a treat. Setup lines are drawn automatically and setup angle calculated and displayed
Still to test it indoors in lower light but if they add:
auto play of swing/swing sequence
option to auto compare to a certain chosen swing
using the new 120 fps technology on new devices
it will be my chosen swing app and set up with HDMI out to my old GT750E on side wall.

This app on a phone is probably the MOST beneficial device you could have. It works amazingly well and soo simple. Add in high-speed fps= Must have.

Have been emailing with the developer..Zeke.
Andriod version is soon to come out of beta.
multi cams is only for Samsung android devices (looks like a second Note3 or Galaxy camera for me)
use of 120fps is happening- iphone version out soon
auto play last swing is happening
I have made a few suggestions and they may eventuate
one of them is to have decent pro swings in FO and DL synced like iswing.
Anyone know a coach of a top 20 player or one regarded as a model swing so he can get video.
