Suggestions for a 910D3 Shaft
I'm having a hard time finding a shaft that works (and that I like). Current shaft is a PX6, and I just cant get consistent - hooks, hooks, hooks..etc.
Then I go back to my 907D2 - FUJIKURA ZCOM SIX STIFF - other than the high ball flight this club is money.
Always been told its in the shaft, and I can't give up on my 910 D3 .................. andy suggestions on a shaft that feels like the FUJIKURA ZCOM SIX STIFF (in the 907D2), but has lower ball flight.
Thanks.

I would say it's much less in the shaft and a whole lot more on the swing you put on it. If you are hitting hooks it isn't the shaft doing it to you.

i agree with John. Also, Project X shafts are pretty firm shafts to begin with. I play a Project X 7c3 in my 910 and do hook it now and then but i know that's all based on swing path and clubface. Perhaps try the 7 for a bit more weight to gain a bit more control but otherwise, a shaft change won't magically correct a hook

Yeah those two shafts are very different and you guys might be surprised the difference two different clubs can make.
The SIX is super light weight 53g, high torque 4.5, higher launch mid spin while the PX is the exact opposite being low torque, low launch firm tip and more than 10g heavier. So there is no doubt these will play and feel different.
Found this link looks like a V2 55 is pretty similar.

Your best bet is to go get fit where they have a Titleist fitting cart and you can try all the different shafts in your head.[FONT=System][COLOR=DarkRed]

I have a project X 8B4 which is heavier and a little stiffer then all of the exemples you mentioned. If your swing speed is higher then 105mph. This shaft would be money for you. I unfortunately find it a tad too stiff for my 910 D3, so I'm looking to go with a stiff UST V2.
My miss is usually left with my driver (over draw/ hook) but with this shaft it never snapped on me. Let me know if you want to try it.

I'm using a Fuji Speeder 7.2X tour spec in my D3....beast!. Nice flight and stupid low spin. I still can't believe it beat out my TourAD DI7X and Fubuki K 70X
Cheers,
