One just sold on TCC for $1,200. So unless you have an in, not sure you are going to see less than $750.

I saw that this morning, the "suggested" retail is $750. As you probably know this is what you pay if you can get your hands on one before it reaches TCC or ebay...

It will sell for 799.99 plus taxes in Canada, so close to $900 retail.

I don't have any before pics but I bought this putter off ebay and it had a few scratches on it - 2 being pretty significant. I pulled the shaft and sent it to the custom shop for a full restoration, new shaft and grip, etc... Yes, it was a bit pricey but the resto alone was top notch - the putter looked brand new.

    Other custom work:

    custom shop headcover
    custom shop grip
    custom shop shaft band
    new shaft
    1* flat
replaced the 10g weights with 15g weights (the putter was originally 35" and I re-shafted it to 34")
    all black paint fill
    sight dot on top
initials on the face, at the toe

How much did all this work cost you?

$250 i think? maybe $250 plus tax. The website is very straight forward, you could easily re-create those options and it will spit out a cost. Factor in another $30 or so for shipping I think. O ya! plus the duty on the way back - that was total BS! They charged me the duty or freight or whatever it is they charge at the border as if I bought the putter new from the states - even though I just sent it for a "repair". That was another $50 that ** me off. I guess by the time it was all said and done, it was probably closer to $350. Considering I only paid $100 for the putter originally from ebay, it wasn't all bad but definitely more than I expected by at least $50.

That happened to me one time when I had a putter restored at the CS. I appealed the charge (I believe to fedex as they were the shipper the collected on behalf of CRA) and it was refunded.
