Bridgestone E5 Question
So after reading the reviews I've decided to try out some Bridgestone E5's. I was checking out the GT website where I came across two different kinds of Bridgestone E5. The 2011 model is called the "Distance Control" E5 compared to the "High Flight" E5. I was wondering if these are the same golf balls with different names or a completely different golf ball.
High Flight

Distance Control

GT has the High Flight E5 at $40 for 24 which isn't bad at all but I was looking for distance and control and not high flight! Anyone know what the deal is with the two of these? Are they the same ball with different names or completely different balls which fall under the E5?
Cheers

the 2011 (distance, control) was an update to the original E5. I beleive they changed the dimple design, and the core slightly.
I think it went E5, E5+, E5 2011.
So, if you believe that each year the balls actually get better, then I guess the top link is a ball thats two generations old. But I don't know if that makes much difference.
I have hit the original but didn't like it as much as some others (Top Flite Gamer V2, for one) so I never went back to try the newer ones.

I have 3 sleeves of E6's (white) that you can try. They are the newer version for $29.99 at GT. If you're interesed, let me know and we can work out a deal.
