You have a valid point, but the eyes of the golfing world have always been on Tiger and he has handled that pressure very well. The scandal may have added perhaps a different kind of pressure if he was in any way concerned that much of the golfing world looked at him differently after the stories of his other life were made public. I think, however, that he is past that.
Swings changes of any kind, even minor ones, take time and a lot more time that most realize. One to two years and in some cases longer, may seem long, but is reasonable when an attempt to change procedural memory is undertaken. IMO, Tiger is roughly two thirds of the way through this process and will play consistently better as time goes on, when the changes become subconscious and as improved play, like we have seen so far this year, raises his confidence level.
I am a fan of his swing and his game, I enjoy TV golf better when he makes the outcome, as we saw on the weekend, interesting. Now, just imagine how popular he would be if he had Rory's attitude.

I actually think that when Tiger was younger he did have an attitude a lot closer to Rory, Tiger has alwasy been a little more firey. But he use to laugh and joke more when he was in his early 20's. I would think that the last 15 years of pressue and media has had its toll on him and made him more jagged. It will be interesting to see if Rory can live up the media hype they are building and if that same attitude will continue to be there. I have a feeling it will not as constant pressue eventually gets to people. Especially in these days of continual media and social attention.
if you get a chance to see David Feherty's interview with Sergio Garcia, Garcia talks about his relationship with Tiger in the early years and how its changed over the years. Great interview as a whole.

Went back and had a look at an interview with Tiger at 22 years old after winning the Masters. Seems humble, honest and confident. A lot like Rory sounds. Time changes people not always for the better.
Its funny to hear him say how he feels he will make mistakes in life during the interview.

I tihnk in spite of what we see of Tiger on the course he still remains a well liked man by his peers.

BAM, nice one, Phil seems to be less liked but we should really check with TMZ to make sure

I'm never buying Nike golf shoes.
You only get out of something what you put into it

Admitidably it looks like Woods is back-----lets wait to see if he can finish this weekend. The test will be The Masters---------all the young guys will be playing to win as well. If Woods does win--------"I'll say he is back and don't look for him to slow down--------once he tastes blood there will be no way stopping him from regaining the #1 spot"
He REALLY screwed up big time but has worked hard to come back. I WAS a huge Tiger fan------not so much now---but he does make the tournaments interesting and brings the excitement back---------and I don't mean to take anything away from the young guns. JMHODoes the 2nd hole-n-one come easier ?

Lets see if he can put 4 rounds together. If he puts up a lackluster 71 or so tomorrow it won't be enough.

When leading after 54 holes, that cat is 37-2 or something like that....I think someone should get ready to buy a nice set of Nike shoes...!
Can GMac pull out a win here...He beat Tiger once before on a Sunday, I think...?

I will say it...Tiger wins the Masters. If he plays like this it's going to be very difficult to beat him.
