Man vs Woman Handicaping
I believe the handicap calculation for male/female stroke play is the handicap for the course plus or minus the difference in the course rating for the different tees.
Can this also be used in match play? If so, is any adjustment made for a hole which is a men's par 4, lady's par 5?

The handicap formula is located in Section 10 of the RCGA Handicap Manual. (http://www.rcga.org/_uploads/documen...icaps-2008.pdf)
The calculation is the same regardless of whether you're playing stroke play, or match play.
In match play par is irrelevant. It's the number of strokes taken, minus any handicap strokes allotted, that counts. When applying the Rules, you follow them line by line. You don't read between them.
