    Is my driver broken?

So I think I broke my driver some how not sure what it is. I am very consistent with my driver usually and the last 2 rounds have been anything but that. The head seems to be turning and twisting upon impact which isn't normal. I have a x stiff shaft and it wasn't doing that before at all.

I think the biggest problem is the lack of pop off the face and the weird noises. Most hits I can hear a cracking noise while others the sound it very very loud and I spray it left. ( I'm left handed)

I cant see any cracks at all and there is no rattling noise.

I have a callaway hyper x that I bought earlier this year.

Any ideas what is going on? My swing is the same as usual and I always shoot very straight with a slight draw and now the last 2 rounds and range sessions I've been hitting the middle of the face and the results have been balls.

Is there some way I cant test for possible problems.

Also am I screwed in terms of returning the club. I had the shaft changed by somebody other than callaway.

If you can twist it with your hands then either the epoxy bond is broken (easy fix) or the shaft has started to delaminate (needs to be replaced).

If that isn't the case then it's possible the head has cracked somewhere and you haven't noticed it.
Not fat anymore. Need to get better at golf now!

My buddy's r7 had been making a different, louder noise that usual (almost sounded like one of the square drivers) for the past few rounds we've played together, then on Sunday the face caved in.

That's what I'm guessing might happen to me. There have been some shots where literally it's almost deffanning.

I'm playing again today so this is the final test even though I am pretty sure I'm screwed.

Immerse it in water. If there is a crack water will find its way.

So what was the end result?
    Cracked head?
    Cracked shaft?
    Total head cave in?
    Inquiring minds want to know?
    Obviously you're not a golfer.

No idea what the problem was. I gave it to somebody with a much slower swing speed and all the problems went away for him anyways.

So could have been me swinging horribly for 1 month or something that only effects a fast swing speed.

Went with a Taylor made tour r580xd and hit that club much further although inconsistent. Trying out a g10 now so verdict is still out.
