    Alignment issues, mainly on tee.

    Evening Gurus,

I was wondering the other day during a round if you were to place a club parallel to your chest, waist and upper thighs when aligning before a drive, is that considered to be an artificial aid? Or would there be any difference between that and watching a target on the ground (divot, tee, dandelion) as something to set up against?

I was under the impression as long as you do not place the club on the ground to set up, you should be okay. Anyone able to look into this for me?

    Thanks,

    Fally

Good, makes sense. I will abuse that as if it's my own personal GPS (Golf Positioning System)!

A couple years ago Mike Weir used to hold a club down to his legs to check his alignment. Works for some.

Just hire a caddy to follow you around and line you up for each shot - Easy
