The Thread About Nothing
Seinfield was one of my all time favorite shows and as any Seinfield fan knows, Jerry was very proud of the fact that Seinfield was a show about nothing.
So I thought that I'd start a thread about nothing and see where it goes - There is really only one rule - you can't stay on topic for more than 3 or 4 posts.
I would expect healthly doses of sarcasm, silliness, off the wall comments, rhetoric and just plain old-fashioned humour (at least from those with a sence of humour).....
So in the immortal words of Larry the Cable Guy let's Git-R-Done!!
I'll start with a Golf Haiku :
Three-foot downhill putt
Just keeps going and going
Now six feet dumb game.

I don't know a Jarhead, but I always liked Jughead from the Archie Comics ..........everyone knows that white boys can't dance and I'm proud to be a Biochemist - friends don't let friends Arts.............or marine biology for that matter
As for shrinkage, I never get overly concerned about shrinkage because at my age things return their normal dimensions quite quickly - I hear that there is a little purple pill that can help speed the process for those who may desire to speed this "up"

Have not tried it yet. However I got this Sears upholstery cleaning machine that uses hot water(not boiling) and that did not work. The vinegar is the next experiment. Some of the cleaners downtown use it on hallway carpets.

Anybody want a cat?
Some people are like Slinkies... they're really good for nothing, ... but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs...
