The weekend looks perfect for golf. No rain and a balmy 2 to 6 degrees. I know a few of us who'll be out for sure.

In my 13 years in Ottawa this has to be the worst year for golf weather I can remember. From playing in 5*C and rain at Tremblant in June to this super skanky fall weather, it has been forgettable. I feel for the courses - business must not have been the best this year. Here's to hoping to a much better season next year!

Saturday is the day for me, maybe Sunday 2. Probably the last weekend. I heard that the months of September and October had the fewest sunny days in the last 40 years, they should wait to see if November will give them a run for thier money.

They probably looked at it 5 minutes before or after you looked at it. Or looked at a different source. Right now they can't even predict very well within 12 hours. The weather is so unpredictable it is changing like the, er, um - weather!

I am glad I just played for the 8th straight day. Looking at this radar shot is scaring me. My location is just south of the spot marked YXU. This screen capture was taken at 2:30PM local time.

Nope, if you'd moved to Vancouver you'd be dealing with 60-100 km/h winds, a few cm of rain, and quite likely, a tree on top of your house
