As Kramer would say: Was that a Titleist? Truly stupid indeed if that really took place.

Can anyone give the abridged version for me. I get blocked by our Websense internet filter when I try to view it.

indio, a guy tees up a driver and hits it right at his friend who is standing 5 yards away. Hits him right in the gut and the guy goes down.... starts floopping around like a fish
the ball left dimple marks... it wasn't jst one bruise

The thing that really kills me is that even from only 5 yards away the guy almost missed! Do you think his buddy would have been brave (stupid) enough to stand there for a second attempt after hearing the first one whiz by?
When applying the Rules, you follow them line by line. You don't read between them.

I still have trouble believing someone could even do this to someone else, dare or not.
I do not think I could bear the guilt after seeing him flop around like that in pain.
Those are 2 people you want to steer clear off on the golf course eh?[COLOR=DarkRed]"Friends don't let friends use Internet Explorer"

NP, I am a seasoned veteran target. I had one ball hit me in about the same place in the stomach after it bounced off a tree, while standing behind my brother who hit the ball. Just proves it is not necessarily safe to stand behind another player sometimes, or yourself even. I hit one myself that bounced back off a tree and hit my calve muscle in the leg, left me limping a bit for a few holes. Mitiing from the trees even to pitch out can be iffy sometimes.
