Terrell Owens Suicide Attempt.
Just saw this on the news. What a tragedy. Ican't beleive that no one with either the Eagles or Cowboys saw this coming.
I hope he is O.K. and gets help.

Now he says it's not a suicide attempt - sounds like an over-reaction.
The fact that he was released from hospital within hours is a little suspicioius.

I haven't had TO ranked in my wide receivers in the past few years. He's a time bomb, and drafting him is ridiculous.

The media is a joke, I think TO was really the VICTIM of the american media here. I kind of feel for the guy... this is not some stupid on the field rumors, they were spreading that he actually tried to kill himself when it was completly false. There's a limit and I think the media went beyond it

Come on you have to admit that Owens is only a victem of his own past. He has created the media frezie around him and he has to live with it. Without the attention he is just another football player and that is the last thing he wants.
I think this smells a little fishy. Empty pill bottles. An on scene publicist. If it was anyone else I would give the benefit of the doubt, but not Owens.
Now seriously, apperantly the Eagles and 49er's suggested strongly that he seek professional help as he definately has issues. At one point early in his career he was shy then he became a Rodman want to be.

You grow up, become famous and change. Rodman was very quiet and shy when he started. I saw him in an interview the other day and he said he was starting to feel depress and almost commited suicide (Rodman). That's when he decided to let himself go, creating the Rodman we all know.
Owens might be flashy, outspoken and loving attention a bit much, but he's not the one creating all this, it's the media who follows his every footstep like he his Paris Hilton and just wait on any occasion (true or false) to create headlines. Every week since the start of training camp an NFL player has been arrested for various reasons (mostly Bengals player.. ), yet, none of this makes headlines like Owens, and those are not necessarely low profile players doing these crimes.
Owens is a monster created by the media.
