Keep fingers crossed for me
Next Wednesday I have the chance to do something that has never been done in any of my golf leagues before! I may be able to go 20 for 20 in match play and stroke play this second half of the season. I know that the odds are ridiculous and that I have to play the number one player next week(and he is a great player) but hey what was the chances of 18 matches in a row to this point especially with 100% handicaps, I was giving 6 and 7 strokes many of those rounds and still pulled it out. I have no explanation for my luck(with a touch of skill )But even if I lose next week It was an incredible run of fortune.

Careful ironmaster, I went 10 for 10 one year to win the match play at my course and all it got me was people calling me a sandbagger . I referred to those people as 'chokers'.

Quick, with odds like that buy yourself a lottery ticket, on the other nhand just keep doing what you have been doing, it is obvioulsy working, that is a fantastic record.

:groupwave :multi I did it!!!!! Beat him 36 to 37 with him giving me a stroke. It was truly an exciting match, I had to throw 3 birdies at him the first 6 holes to go 2 up, he fought back to within one and I made a 32 foot par putt with 6 foot of break on the next to the last hole (thanks to putting my drive into a pine tree) to put some pressure on him with his 10 foot birdie putt, he just came up 2 inches short, It was extremely down hill so he couldn't take a chance on 3 putting. One of my birdies was a pitch in from 27 yards which had him shaking his head. But I feel he was a little off his game and I was very lucky. Thanks everybody for keeping your fingers crossed, It also made me play a little harder just so I wouldn't let you down. 20 for 20 in stroke and match play, I cannot believe it!!!!

way to go frank.. my streak came to an end when I failed to lose to dan, I'm looking to start a new streak with geoff tomorrow. But seriously, congrats. They say that if you give your TRUE cap and the FC gives his true cap there is a 50/50 shot you will win (I actually have another theory on that but lets not get into that now). For you to win 20 straight matches 0.000095% chance of that happening (obviiously I haven't taken into account draws and other factors but not everyone will understand it as I am much smarter than everyone else)
