Forum Fun Golf Day - Sat. Sept 30th
Ok folks, it is official, Le Sourcier has been booked for our Forum FUN Golf Day on Saturday September 30 starting at 11:00. Bugsy has been chatting with the coordinator at Le Sourcier today and confirmed the following:
Date: Saturday Sept 30
Time:11:00 to 1:00 (15 groups)
Cost: $55 per person (tax and cart included)
FORMAT:
This is just a fun day for Ottawa Golf Forum Members to meet the folks they chat with day in and day out. It is a play your own game and there are no prizes being awarded. We will play our round then meet on the pation for a few cold 'pops'. Those wanting to can also order finger food or munchies to keep them going while you provide and listen to all the 'horror stories' from your fellow players!
We are now accepting confirmed names (see instructions below) on a first come, first served basis. If we fill up, we will try and get some more times. Just a reminder that this is for people to meet each other and put faces to the names, not a serious event. People who have demonstrated interest range from scratch golfers up to people who play in the 120's so don't be shy. We will put together the foursomes and will try to accommodate special requests to play with other members. Unless notified, we will keep couples together, but you don't have to play together.
So folks, there were well over 50 people that said they would be interested in a get together. Lets see if we can fill the tee sheet up within a week! Le Sourcier has asked that we provide them with the final list 2 weeks before Sept 30th and that any times not used will be released to the public at that time.
What you need to do to sign up:
Send myself (Indio) or Bugsy a Private Message (PM) providing the following info:
1. Forum name(s)
2. Your normal score for a round (or handicap)
3. If you have a preference who you want to play with
4. Do you have a preference the time you tee off
5. They want everyone to be prepaid by September 16th so you will have to call Le Sourcier 819-669-9797 and provide them with credit card payment for your fee(s) indicating you are with the Ottawa Golf Memebers Group on Sept 30th. Once you have done this, please confirm to one of us that you have paid, so Bugsy can coordinate with Le Sourcier (their request)Last edited by Indio; 09-23-2006 at 08:36 PM.

I just updated the instructions to indicate that you should call the course and provide then with payment by Septmber 16th. I did not mean to say you had to pay immediately. Sorry for the confusion guys. Never said I was a 100 watt light bulb

Personally, I would love to attend this event and be in Geoff's foursome. With two PINK YES Putters in one group we would surely mess up the other two players in the foursome!
However I feel the drive down and back might be a bit much for one round of golf!My opinions are my own, I do not follow others.

actually indio, I can't lie to bugsy.. I like her. Bugsy, indio to me to pretend I was coming down if I could get in a group with a women (which included you). That way, he wouldn't be in your group. I really can't make it, told him that already but he told me to do it!
Rick, I don't mind getting out driven by a women I'll just start crying like I'm really upset and maybe we'll have a big group hug

She also had a clause in the contract she wanted us to sign that said we had to make a big fuss and pay lots of attention to her Daddy (could have been Caddy but the crayon had smudged)
She understood and wished us all a good fun day and said she would do soething somewhere else in the world to keep the press away from our event. Lets hope it works!Proud member of the 2009 OG/TGN Ryder Cup Champions
