Larger Grip Size - Finger Pain

Has anyone switched to larger grip sizes and noticed a reduction in finger joint pain?

Thanks John. My doctor recommended larger grips for finger pain, so I appreciate your response confirming it helped you.

    Larger grip size finger pain.

A thought from Paris ON. I am a senior and long time player 2 years ago I started having back of the right hand cramping. I actually switched to CP2 Jumbo grips and in short order the issues were gone. Cheers.

I have used the Winn Dritacs as well, very good and another couple you may want to try are the arthrictic grips from Grip One and Tacki Mac

https://www.golfworks.ca/tacki-mac-a...-grips/p/fmac/ this one is oversized $7

https://www.golfworks.ca/grip-one-ar...-grips/p/g1aj/ this one is jumbo $5

Winn has one as well but it's $13

Of course Winn grips are top of the line especially with their 26 gram model. But if price is an issue the Avon Chamois remains a winner:

    Features:
.580" and .600" core diameters available
Ribbed - installed size: women's, standard and jumbo
Innovative Air-Cushioned Absorption System (ACAS) sets the standard for comfort and control
Popular choice for arthritic or sensitive hands

Yes, but also don't overlook grip firmness.

Many moons ago I tried out some of the original Winn soft grips in standard size. The combination of size and softness, which I assume reduced the effective size a bit, resulted in finger pain within a week. I cut them off and went back to my old model and the pain was gone.
Not fat anymore. Need to get better at golf now!
