Belleville
Played Black Bear and Trillium Woods and both courses in really good condition. Customer service also excellent at both courses. Bring Bug spray. On way back played Loyalist near Kingston conditions good but lots of houses on back nine. Would recommend this for a short golf trip but switch Loyalist for Smugglers.

to add to this thread , I played Timber Ridge outside of Belleville.
Great layout , links style . Fairways and tee boxes are in very nice shape. A couple of the greens are close to being un-puttable as they are still suffering from winter kill. The rest are in decent shape but slow. Massive greens with lots of undulation.
Some traps have been redone and new white sand added some of the others are a bit rough, almost waste bunker condition. Reasonable priced round of golf but not enough wow factor to get me to drive there again for the day.
If they got the greens in top shape this course could compete with Trillium Woods.

I returned to play Timber Ridge and glad I did , what a turn around re: green, bunker and fairway conditions. A pleasure to play , located about 25 minutes west of Trillium Wood. If you want to meetup with friends from the GTA this is a good option. A bit of a drive but I will go back. Some of the trickiest greens and pin placments I have ever played. Tee to green , tip top shape.
