    Driver Shaft to 3 wood

I have a Tour AD DI 7S with a 910 driver adapter. Luckily the adapter fits the 910f too. Is it as simple as removing the tip, cutting 1/2” off the tip and then butt trim to length?

Always a good idea to check the trimming instructions as some shafts are butt trimming only. From the following it looks as though you're OK

See the note at the bottom of the trimming guide.

Thanks. That’s the guide I was checking too. With following that guide for trimming, it shouldn’t stiffen the shaft because the 3 wood head is heavier, right?

Correct. There usually is a 10 gram difference between the 2
