In order to know the available options, the Tour pros would have had to read about the new rules before the season began. They didn't so considering the errors some have made this year, their ignorant comments or gestures to their errors, and the added confusion caused by the uninformed TV announcers, there is obviously a long way to go before they, and we, become familiar with what should already be known.
In time, I hope, golfers at all levels, will recognize just how positive the changes are.
