bounce back issue / moving covers getting destroyed
hi everyone. i was having serious bounce back issue with my simulator so after reading some post i installed some big blue moving covers in back of my screen. it work perfectly and reduced bounce back to 3-4 feet max. the problem is after just a few rounds the blue cover is getting destroyed by the balls. i lifted the white screen and looked at the blue cover and it must of had 100 holes in it and now its barely hold up. still works to reduce bounce back but i am sure will fall down any round now. anyone have another recommendation or as seen this. what material would resit better . this was a heavy material so i am surprised it did not hold up much

I put a bed sheet between my screen and the moving covers. My screen it about 2 inches from my sheet and the sheet is right on the moving blankets

Try bed sheets and a net behind your screen. What impact screen are you using?

We see this topic continuously, and its always bed sheets. Why is it that Trugolf have managed to master a screen without bounce back in such an efficient form. Should we not be ordering the screen from them, or atleast learning from their product? Bed mattresses / bed sheets seems a bit agricultural no?

I put up a memory foam mattress, more expensive but i blew through the cheap Harbor Freight blankets in a month and it made a mess.

Hello. New member so I'm not sure if this has been offered up in other threads, but how about a canvas paint tarp? You can find them at any hardware store in a variety of sizes and I would think they would stand up to more than the plastic tarps. Just a thought.

Welcome Hacker. In my experience canvas print tarp will not last with real balls.

I have tried the canvas tarp and my last screen was an archery net. Still got bounce back. Last week I got a new premium hitting screen from Carls Place. I am very impressed with this screen. The picture from the projector is very clear and the balls drop almost straight down. I do not use any backing. It is fairly expensive, but I wish I had done it sooner.

Carls place premium hitting screen then a heavy carpet 2 inches behind that. I only get bounce back (about 2.5 feet) on driver and 3 wood.
