Thoughts on building a custom Maltby set
Hello all,
I'm frustrated with the insane prices of new gear so I have started to dabble with the concept of building a Maltby set through Golfworks. I would get a driver, combo iron set, and 3 wedges. I could get all of this for around the same price as an M2 Driver and sleeve of Pro Vs. I'm not exaggerating.
Any thoughts on Maltby gear?
Thanks,
Nick

Hillier if you haven't bought your clubs yet I would highly recommend the Maltby clubs from golf works. I have two sets the MMB forged and the KE4 tour forged why two sets, because you get PROBERLY fitted length lie and shaft flex for a third of the price of a brand name club. These clubs are every bit as good as any brand name out there I have tried them all, the only difference is they don't say Ping or Titleist on them, but its kinda cool to hit the ball just as good if not better with my $350.00 maltbys than they are with their unfitted off the shelf $950.00 set of brand name irons.
