    New impact screen

I just purchased a new Poly blend impact screen off of ebay. The price and discription seemed good. See below

MOVIE SCREEN IMAGE QUALITY. STRONG ENOUGH TO TAKE A REAL GOLF BALL. The Poly blend is commercial grade and designed for heavy use. The trade off is some grain in the image. If you hit alot of balls go with the poly blend.
    SEAMLESS
SUPERTEX 9 OZ POLYESTER WHITE MESH
    SEAMLESS YES YES
    IMAGE QUALITY BEST GOOD
    DURABILITY GOOD BEST
    STRENGTH GOOD BEST

What I have found is there's a lot of grain with the screen. It produces a dull picture and there are interferrence patterns that look like small waves in a pond with light and dark patterns. The company is not very forth coming with info, so I was wondering if any of you folks have had the same issue. I have an epson home cinema 6100 projector.

What size and price Stone? Is it silent on impact? Time will tell on its durability. Picture quality doesn't sound great.

    Thanks for the response bubba.

I have seen quite a few screens and this one has the most grain I have seen and also has those interference patterns I mentioned. I was wondering it anyone has seen a similar issue. I have a DLP projector with only 1800 LM output, so that could be part of the problem. The folks that I ordered this screen from have contacted me and offered an exchange with another screen.

The screen was under $200 for an 8' x 12', so obviously on the lower end. The sound is about what I am use to with other screens, not particularly loud or soft.

I do have it, but my purpose here was to find out if the type of projector I have is contributing to the issues. I don't want to trash the folks selling the item.

Are they going to switch it to the regular supertex? That is what i have and it's holding up quite well for the limited time i've had it and the image is quite nice.
